The house
Maria Mihăescu, known as Miţa the Cyclist Woman, was the first woman in Romania to ride a bicycle. Her house, built in 1908 in Art Nouveau style, stood in ruin for years. It was restored and reopened to the public in 2022 as a historic monument of national importance.
Downstairs, the brasserie and the pastry shop. On the 1st floor, the cocktail bar and the Historic Salon, with its original stucco and mirrors. Also here: an exhibition space and a bookshop.
